CALIBRE 3255

Introduction and Launch: The Rolex calibre 3255 is an in-house automatic movement introduced at Baselworld 2015, featured in the Rolex Day-Date 36 and 40. Marking a new chapter for one of Rolex’s most iconic models, the 3255 features the patented Chronergy escapement, enhancing both energy efficiency and reliability. Rolex claimed that this movement was twice as precise as an officially certified chronometer. With 14 patents protecting its advanced technology, including a Paramagnetic Oscillator with a redesigned balance staff for greater resistance to magnetism, the calibre 3255 set a new standard for precision and innovation in Rolex watchmaking.
