Introduction and Launch: The Rolex calibre 3230, introduced in 2020, is a self-winding mechanical movement designed and manufactured entirely in-house by Rolex. Introduced as a significant advancement in watchmaking, it incorporates multiple patented technologies to enhance precision, power reserve, shock resistance, and protection against magnetic fields. Featuring Rolex's patented Chronergy escapement, the 3230 offers exceptional energy efficiency and reliability. Its barrel design, combined with the highly efficient escapement, extends the power reserve to approximately 70 hours. Driven by a Perpetual rotor, this movement exemplifies Rolex’s commitment to innovation and performance. Models include the Air King 40, Submariner 41, Explorer 36 and 40 and the Oyster Perpetual 36 and 41.
