CALIBRE 3185

Introduction and Launch: The Rolex calibre 3185, introduced in 1989 with its debut in the GMT-Master II Ref. 16710, is an automatic self-winding mechanical GMT movement designed and manufactured entirely by Rolex. It's based on the acclaimed Rolex 3135 architecture and incorporates a 24-hour hand for GMT functionality, alongside a quickset date feature. Around 2005-2006, Rolex upgraded this movement to the calibre 3186.
