On the 9th April, the watch world will be holding their breath to see the newest arrivals from Rolex, who are due to unveil the latest models for 2024. Looking at their teaser on the official website, it looks like there will be a new Day-Date offering, a new guilloche dial and a full rose gold model with possible full diamond set bezel.
Rolex enthusiasts eagerly anticipate the return of the Milgauss, with hints suggesting its comeback may be imminent. A photo of a yellow gold watch on an Oyster bracelet has garnered attention, notably for its steel caseback despite the gold construction. At last year’s show, Tudor captivated the industry with the introduction of the 37mm Black Bay 54 diver, sparking a notable uptick in the desire for compact sports timepieces. Expectations are high for the brand to build upon this momentum, possibly by revealing a downsized iteration of the Black Bay GMT, potentially in a sleek 39mm format.
Additionally, enthusiasts anticipate the possibility of Tudor introducing a midsize variant of its standard Black Bay diver, which underwent a significant redesign last year, now available in the traditional 41mm size, catering to diverse preferences within the market.
Patek Philippe, traditionally known for its high-end timepieces, could venture into new territory by introducing a dive watch this year, marking a significant departure from its established repertoire. Regarding the Nautilus collection, enthusiasts speculate on potential updates such as the introduction of new metals like steel or rose gold, or the unveiling of fresh dial colours, signalling a potential evolution for this iconic line.
These anticipated developments reflect Patek Philippe’s ongoing commitment to innovation and adaptation within the luxury watch market.
