Reach For The Stars

For two decades, the iconic Omega Snoopy Speedmasters have gained immense popularity owing to their distinctive design and knack for captivating individuals’ imagination. In total, three models have been released, the first in 2003, followed by 2015 and 2021 respectively.

In 2015, Omega honoured Apollo 13 mission by adding a second Snoopy Speedmaster watch to the collection. This model features a 42mm case, a stunning white dial with sapphire crystal. The subdial features a sleeping Snoopy illustration with a thought bubble thinking “Failure is not an option”.

The watch has a quote between the 12 and 3 o’clock dial markers, asking “What can you do in 14 seconds?” This is a reference to the Apollo 13 mission. Before re-entering Earth’s atmosphere, the astronauts needed to make a mid-course adjustment which took them 14 seconds to do this.

Super-LumiNova covers the main hands and hour markers and white enamel coats the tachymeter scale on the ceramic bezel. This ensures lasting whiteness and durability.

The true highlight however is the hand-crafted case back which features a Snoopy Awards engraving in 925 silver. The stunning dark blue enamel has silver powder speckles which represents the stars in the sky and looks phenomenal.

All in all, the Snoopy Omega Speedmaster watches, have established themselves as some of the most desirable watches in the market.
