THE ROLEX 126660 SEA-DWELLER DEEPSEA

The Rolex 126660 Sea-Dweller Deepsea

Production Years:

The Rolex Sea-Dweller Deepsea 126660 was first released in 2018. It has been in production ever since.

Defining Features:

The Rolex Sea-Dweller 126660 made some small, but meaningful changes to its predecessor. Of course, the addition of Rolex’s latest and greatest movement, the 3235 calibre, would be the first notable change. This movement is the most precise and powerful yet from Rolex. This calibre gives the 126660 a whopping 70-hour power reserve, compared to the 48-hour power reserve of the 3135. The bracelet of the 126660 is also slightly broader, adding to the large profile of the Deepsea that fans have come to love. This broader bracelet accommodates the new Fliplock system, which allows the watch to be extended an extra 26mm (in addition to the 20mm you get from the Glidelock system). This makes it easy to adjust your bracelet size and fit it over a drysuit or wetsuit for a dive.

As you’d expect from a Deepsea, the 126660 comes in a 44m case with stainless steel throughout. The bezel and dial come in black, though you can also find the special edition James Cameron blue for the dial colour. Of course, you also get the highly impressive 3900 metres of water resistance and the helium release valve for saturation diving. The Rolex Deepsea is an overall fantastic watch that can go with you anywhere.

About Rolex Model Number 126660

In 2018, Rolex introduced a new model of their Deepsea collection after a decade of the previous iteration. The Deepsea has always been an immensely popular part of the Rolex lineup. The larger case and the incredible functionality made it the tool watch that everyone wants to add to their collection.

Further adding to the legacy of the Rolex Deepsea was the release of the special James Cameron edition, to mark the director’s journey to the depths of the Mariana Trench. This would make the Rolex Deepsea an even more coveted timepiece. With the 126660 being the most modern version of the Rolex Deepsea available, with the best possible technology for this diving watch, it’s a great choice for any Deepsea enthusiast.
