The Breitling Premier Automatic 40, as the name suggests, measures 40mm in width, 11.4mm in thickness, and boasts a water resistance of 100m. It comes in anthracite, blue, and silver dial variations with bracelet and strap options. The seven-link bracelet, featuring an “oblique” design, contributes to a retro vibe.
Powering the Premier Automatic 40 is the Breitling Caliber 37, formerly known as the ETA 2895-2. This movement, sourced by Breitling, is a small-seconds version of the thin and esteemed ETA 2892 automatic movement. It offers a power reserve of approximately 40 hours and operates at a frequency of 4Hz. The movement is COSC-certified, ensuring a daily average accuracy within -4 to +6 seconds, although the solid caseback conceals the view of the movement.
