The Breitling Endurance Pro is the perfect outdoor watch, with a tachymeter built–in alongside a compass feature displaying the four cardinal points (N, E, S, W). It can also be utilized as a sun compass. Whether you’re northern or southern hemisphere, the procedure to use this functionality is the same. Firstly, point the hour hand towards the sun. The point on the watch dial located halfway between the 12 o’ clock and the current hour is North in the Northern Hemisphere, and South in the Southern Hemisphere. Next, South will correspond to the opposite direction of North respectively. With this feature being hugely advantageous during hikes in the mountains, the Endurance Pro provides the characteristics of a perfect outdoor watch.
Seemingly placing hardly any restriction on the dial, Arabic hour indices have been partly cut away to accommodate the sub-counters at 3, 6 and 9 o’clock. These sub-counters include a 1/10th of a second counter, a constant second counter and a 30-minute counter, as well as a discreetly placed date window appearing in between the 4 o’clock and 5 o’clock position.
A pulsometer scale has also been integrated into the internal bezel. A pulsometer scale is a great device to measure the heart rate, ideal for those taking part in high-powered exercises.
